The Midway is the last line of defense between the newly-strengthened alien attack force and a series of quick jumps directly into the Sol system. We will attempt to set up a blockade to stop a formidable enemy bomber force which is approaching at speed. Because we have insufficient time and vessels to evacuate Callisto Space Station, our blockade must center around them. Should we fail, the station's entire population will be in alien hands. Alpha Wing will intercept the first waves of inbound hostiles. If our defensive line breaks down, the Midway will signal the retreat and pull back to the Alcor system, where we will regroup and attempt to stop enemy forces if they attempt to enter through the Hellespont jump point. Any pilots who do not immediately return to the Midway after the retreat is called will be left behind.

Notes
- Missile the Skate Ts until they die, then take out the remaining fighters at your own pace. It doesn't get any simpler. Of course if it is still too difficult for you, perhaps you need to drop the skill level you are playing at in the options menu.
- What else can I say? Except don't get killed of course.
Outcome
Success go to Hellespont 2. Failure you lose.

The first alien starships have arrived here in the Hellespont system. Before we lost contact with our SWACS patrol, we learned that an enemy ship killer may be nearing the Hellespont jump point in T'lan Meth. An advance force containing an alien cruiser has already entered this system. Your Alpha Wing will be assigned to take out the defenses of the cruiser group so a wing of bombers can destroy the ship. If the cruiser breaks past our defenses, the Midway will signal the retreat and pull back to the Alcor system, where we will regroup and attempt to stop the aliens if they attempt to enter through the Hellespont jump point.

Notes
- This is a tricky mission, but it is far easier than the mission you get if Callisto is destroyed. So make sure that it doesn't by taking out the Red Mantas and Skate Ts first. From there, just defend the bombers. Make sure that they survive to launch their torpedoes and you'll be fine.
- Be careful of the Barracudas. All of their guns are up front, and if they get one of your bombers in their sights, they'll make short work of it.
Outcome
- Success go to T'lan Meth 1.
- Midway gets destroyed you lose.
- Callisto gets destroyed go to Alcor 1.

Comments : It appears that you go to Alcor if Callisto gets damaged too, the Callisto's bridge was on red when all the ships were killed and I went to Alcor..
