Your loss in the last mission means you'll be forced to face more fighters. Your only option is to handle them as best as you can while still leaving enough firepower to take out the frigate. Contrary to what the briefing said, missiles and guns do hurt capships as well as torpedoes, but since you have plenty of torps you might as well make use of them if you need to.

Mission : Difficulty Levels WC3 Vs. WC4
Comments : The difficulty levels (at least for Mac) are MUCH tougher for WC4 than WC3. Don't get discouraged if you can beat WC3 on nightmare and find even lower levels of WC4 difficult.On nightmare: 2 WC4 bogies=over 4 WC3 bogies/Wingmen die faster 2.

Mission : Ship Choices For Nightmare Level
Comments : Nightmare Level: Except for the Dragon, choose the faster ship whenever you're given a choice. 1 missile=death regardless of armor and you need to fly close before firing to prevent enemy missile decoys.

Mission : Hellespont 1
Comments : Maniac takedown, easiest way: while he talks, come to a full stop right next to his ship, aiming at him. Once you reply to him and he turns hostile, fire away with full lasers. You will cause about 50% damage to him, making the rest much easier.
