Notes
- Despite only having one Nav point to hit, there's a lot going on. You launch to find the Claw under attack, so take out the attackers quickly. Since they'll be focused on the Claw, you can easily get on their tail and drop them with your Neutron guns. Head on towards Nav 1, being careful of the mine field along the way. When you come across the Grathas, switch to Mass Drivers and hammer away. If you stray too far, the Krants and Fralthi will show up while you're still handling the Grathas, so be careful if you can. Once the Krants do arrive, start using your missiles and keep at them with your Mass Drivers. Once they're gone switch back to Neutrons for the Fralthi, choose one side and focus on that. When you arrive back at the Claw, three Dralthis are attacking the Claw and one seems to be running away, so let it. The same strategy as for the first wing of Krants applies here.

You'll fly a straight course to the rendezvous point. If you're jumped by any Kilrathi, don't hesitate to destroy them. Rendezvous with your convoy at Nav One. Escort them back to Nav 2, just this side of the hot zone. When they jump clear, break off and return home.

Notes
- While the fighters in this mission aren't particularly challenging, keeping both transports alive can be. At Nav 1, you need to let rip with a lot of missiles and take out those Jalthis as quickly as you can. If a transport survives with heavy damage, it may still not make it if you don't manually fly around the mine field. The other fighters that you encounter here can just be handled however you prefer.
Outcome
Success go to Midgard 1. Failure Claw retreats.

Comments : After I successfully fly this mission, back at the bar SPIRIT is reported KIA. It's fuuny though, she is referred to by ICEMAN during the conversation, although the other seat is empty. I know you get to fly with her later and think this is a bug.

both transports survived and I took out all the fighters for the mission, I don't know if thats any different to what happened when you went through that mission

Comments : Go to Nav 2 first and kill the 3 Gratha and 2 Krant there, before heading to Nav 1 to the rendezvous. Makes it easier to keep the transports alive.

Comments : Thomas: It's a bug if you are using the original DOS version and transferred your character from the normal campaign because of an overflow of the number of missions you've done.Use a savegame editor to reset this to 0 before playing Thor's Hammer

Comments : I had a weird bug with this mission. I managed to keep both transports alive in the initial attack, but they seemed incapable of reaching Nav 2 while I was watching. They'd make their way within a distance of maybe 4000 km, but then they'd get a huge boost of speed and go sailing (sometimes sideways) past the nav point by over 10 000 km, and then this would repeat at the next approach.
