LEV ARRIS: Come on, come on.

XAVIER SHONDI: Hey there, Ser Arris. How's the lady with the wheel treating you?

LEV ARRIS: Not too bad, Ser Shondi, yourself?

XAVIER SHONDI: Lets sit down and I'll give you the demerit. Download this. Got a cargo, ETA very soon. I've got to go rendezvous with it out by the system jump point.

LEV ARRIS: You need someone to fly shotgun for you?

XAVIER SHONDI: Not the cargo, my little mining operation. Some places out here have been getting wiped out lately. I'd hate to have that occuring while I was off taking care of business.

LEV ARRIS: What kind of price are we talking?

XAVIER SHONDI: 5,000. I can't front it to you, unfortunately. Cash flow problems. You'll get it all when I get back, though.

25th Anniversary

On May 20, 2020, Privateer 2: The Darkening director Steve Hilliker released The Darkening 25th Anniversary Restoration which featured footage restored from Betacam tapes. The footage has been edited down into a cinema cut but where available it is of much higher quality than the game's files.
