MELISSA BANKS: It's the anniversary of the very first time we met. When I came out of nowhere and saved your life.

LEV ARRIS: That's not quite how I remember it.

MELISSA BANKS: Typical man.

LEV ARRIS: Sorry, do I know you?

MELISSA BANKS: In every concievable sense.

LEV ARRIS: I mean, your face is familiar, but...

MELISSA BANKS: Oh, that's a pity, seeing as I just booked a hotel suite with a freefall jacuzzi.

LEV ARRIS: Melissa! Happy anniversary, darling.

MELISSA BANKS: Do I know you, mister?

LEV ARRIS: Well don't you remember, you saved my life?

MELISSA BANKS: Somehow, I just can't recall.

LEV ARRIS: We, ah, we met at the Rampant Robot bar, you gave me a cure for dry lips.

MELISSA BANKS: I did?

LEV ARRIS: Listen, has the suite really got a free-fall jacuzzi?

25th Anniversary

On May 20, 2020, Privateer 2: The Darkening director Steve Hilliker released The Darkening 25th Anniversary Restoration which featured footage restored from Betacam tapes. The footage has been edited down into a cinema cut but where available it is of much higher quality than the game's files.
