Confederation Mission 5 is the fifth mission in the Human Confederation Gauntlet in Wing Commander Armada. It follows Confederation Mission 4 and is followed by Confederation Mission 6.

This mission will be a standard patrol. Enemy units
are not showing up, so this should be a cake walk,
therefore you will be flying a PHANTOM.

Tactical Advice
- Oh those happy, happy little Shok'lar! Concentrte your fire against one enemy at a time. This is always a good general principle to follow, but when you're fighting Shok'lars it's imperative.
- If one of the Shok'lars gets a missile lock on you, try to turn and attack that ship. That way, if he gets his missile off, it will be conveniently in your sights. Also, if the Shok'lar has a missile lock on you, that means he can't use his cloak unless he either fires his missile or gives up the lock, so the time when a Shok'lar is getting a missile lock on your ship is the time when it's most vulnerable.
- Notice that in this mission, the second wave is the tough one. If you can get through that, the final wave is a bit of a breather.
