midgame: INTREPID c.i.c. - sosa & dekker -j2ÿÿ Dekker sits in a corner, looking very bored, until ...
ALL the screens and instrument panels suddenly power up.
we realize how quiet it just was on the bridge, as communications chatter resumes with a flurry, and sosa is suddenly traffic controller for a vast number of audio and radar channels.
meanwhile, on the main viewport, something emerges out of the space soup, something we didn't see before...
the jamming obviously worked on a visual spectrum as well, because now we see a confed spacelab... and fleeing from it, a fleet-officer shuttle...
dekker stands up, eyes glued to the viewport.
dekker Somebody's in a mighty big hurry to make tracks.
now his jaw juts.
dekker Be interesting to see who thinks he doesn't belong there...
