Shooting Script
A Wing Commander IV shooting script has been digitized from the collection of the University of Texas at Austin. A digital version (extracted below) was posted to Origin's Wing Commander IV website in 1996.
However ... when Blair gets within X kilometers of the depot --
A fighter, sporting Border Worlds militia markings, launches a torpedo at the depot and destroys it in a MASSIVE EXPLOSION --
On Blair's comm screen -- the helmeted pilot of that fighter appears. His VOICE AND IMAGE FRITZ IN AND OUT, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO RECOGNIZE HIM (he is Seether).

The transmission ends --
And before Blair can react --
Seether performs that amazing, absolutely unique mine-drop/afterburner maneuver and disappears into the jump point.
