MAJOR TODD "MANIAC" MARSHALL: I got four queens! Four queens! It's mine! A toast, buddy! Yes!
COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Tell me this is a joke, Vagabond.
1ST LIEUTENANT WINSTON "VAGABOND" CHANG: Afraid not, partner.
MAJOR TODD "MANIAC" MARSHALL: He's not invincible to the 'Maniac moves.' Nobody is! My ship has come in. Lady luck is my bride, the lucky girl. Maybe I should have been flying for the Border Worlds all along.
COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: This can't be happening: you never lose.

A Wing Commander IV shooting script has been digitized from the collection of the University of Texas at Austin. A digital version (extracted below) was posted to Origin's Wing Commander IV website in 1996.
galley - Maniac, Vagabond (optional) -e2 Blair notices that a small crowd has gathered around a table. upon closer inspection, he sees the shocking sight of Vagabond LOSING in a card game ... to maniac.
Maniac laughs as he scoops up the pot and adds it to his large pile of winnings.
Blair Vagabond, is this a joke?
Vagabond's face is ashen. He can't believe it either.
Vagabond 'fraid not, partner.
Maniac (gloating) He's not invincible to the 'Maniac moves.' Nobody is. My ship's come in. Lady Luck is my bride -- the lucky girl. Maybe I shoulda been flying for the Border Worlds all along.
Blair (to Vagabond) This can't be happening. You never lose.
Vagabond gets up from the table and walks away in a state of shock.
