Howard Day is giving the Kilrathi some more heavy weaponry. His latest addition to the Wing Leaderproject is the Grikath fighter. This version has a daunting spaceframe highlighted by ornate reddish hull textures. The ship features a rear turret with independent movement and targeting, so it packs a punch from every angle! For those who are curious, the ship very much fits in the era's aesthetic. We see it featured in more than half a dozen episodes of Wing Commander Academy!
Okay, I got it! Wing Leader Grikath's turret now fires and aims (within limits), and inherits the main ship's skill settings. I'm pretty happy with this! Also, here's some finished images of the Grikath and its turret. :D
