Cheat Codes
Wing Commander I
Note the following were disabled for Kilrathi Saga.
Start the game with "wc Origin" at the command line to enter debug mode.
⮚ Alt-Del destroys target. Alt-Ins destroys targetted enemy wing.
Start the game with wc.exe Origin -k.
⮚ Same as above, plus invincibility.
Wing Commander II
Note the following were disabled for Kilrathi Saga.
Start the game with "wc2 Origin" at the command line to enter debug mode.
⮚ Alt-Del destroys target. Alt-Ins destroys all enemy fighters on the radar.
Start the game with "wc2.exe Origin -k".
⮚ Same as above, plus invincibility.
Wing Commander III
In flight, press Alt-O.
⮚ Select invincibility.
Start the game with "wc3 -mitchell" at the command line to enter debug mode.
⮚ Pressing Ctrl-W destroys your target.
Wing Commander IV
In flight, press Alt-O.
⮚ Select invincibility.
Start the game with "wc4 -chicken" at the command line
⮚ Enters debug mode. You should see the message "Chicken mode: [ON] Boc Boc!" during game start-up.
⮚ Ctrl-W destroys your target.
⮚ Ctrl-Alt-W destroys all enemies on the radar.
⮚ Alt-F displays framerate.
Start the game with "wc4 -mitchell" at the command line
⮚ Get the message "Mitchell don't work here no more. He work for Bazooka Joe now." during game start-up.
Start the game with "wc4 -mitchell2" at the command line
⮚ Get the message "I told you he don't work here no more! You call Bazooka Joe! during game start-up."
Start the game with "wc4 -test" at the command line
⮚ Get the message "Test okay!!!" during game start-up. The game then crashes
Wing Commander IV Playstation
At the Wing Commander copyright screen, press Up, Down, Down, Up, R2.
⮚ Press R1 or R2 to select a game level.
Wing Commander Prophecy
Type "alswantsmoreships" in the simulator selection screen. Press Z.
⮚ Lets you fly Nephilim and Kilrati ships.
In flight, type "moretunes". You may have to hold the shift key down.
⮚ Change background music by pressing Page Up and Page Down.
In flight, type "dynomite" to enter debug mode. You may have to hold the shift key down.
⮚ Ctrl-I enables invincibility. Ctrl-F12 destroys your target. Ctrl-C turns collisions off.
In simulator mission 0, approach the Confed Base. Destroy the fighter that appears.
⮚ Adds a waypoint.
In simulator mission 2, type "dynomite". You may have to hold the shift key down.
⮚ Adds a waypoint.
Wing Commander Prophecy for Gameboy Advance
If the cheat is entered correctly, the screen will flash white briefly.
At the Prophecy splash screen with the flashing "Press start" text, enter Up, Down, A, B, Left, Right, L, L, R, R, B, A
⮚ God Mode (invulnerability)
At the Prophecy splash screen with the flashing "Press start" text, enter R, L, A, A, A, B, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, A
⮚ Alien ships can be viewed from the tactical database in the Midway's rec room.

Hex editing with a Codebreaker GBA

Kilrathi Saga
With invincibility off, open wingcmdr.cfg and wc2.cfg. Make sure they contain -k -b. Turning invincibility back on may cause your name to change back to CHEATER.
⮚ Player name is no longer replaced with "CHEATER" when invincibility is enabled.
Privateer
Privateer II
Open the navigation screen by pressing Alt-N. Press F. Type one of the following and press enter.
⮚ NO TALENT (Invincibility)
⮚ REP ME UP (Repairs armor and shields)
⮚ NAPALM (Unlimited nukes)
⮚ PETY PETY (Full afterburners)
⮚ CHILL OUT (Lasers produce less heat)
Academy
Special Note: "WCA ESRT" is not the correct cheat code. Unfortunately, many sites have reposted it based on our typographical error. Thanks to Hunter_13 for the correction!
Start the game with "WCA ERTS" at the command line to enter debug mode. Note this must be in ALL CAPS.
⮚ Alt-Del destroys target.
⮚ Alt-Insert destroys all enemies.
⮚ Alt-I increases enemy intelligence.
⮚ Ctrl-I decreases enemy intelligence.
Start the game with "WCA ERTS -k" (requires caps)
⮚ Same as above, plus invincibility.
Start the game with "WCA ERTS -z" (requires caps)
⮚ Same as above, plus invincibility, except for collisions.
Armada
Wing Commander Movie
In the US release of the movie, press right on your remote control and then press select to see a DVD credits screen.
Super Wing Commander
Mac Cheat Dialog: Type a "$" (dollar sign, Shift+4) at any point during the game. This brings up a password dialog.
⮚ Type "SWCBuster". This brings a further cheat dialog. Case sensitive. The options have these meanings:
⮚ "Bangable" unchecked disables all collision damage (including those pesky asteroids and mines)
⮚ "Killable" unchecked makes you invulnerable
⮚ "Finger of Death" checked enables you to kill any targeted ship by pressing "s". This works only on the enemy.
⮚ "Pickable" checked lets you pick any mission or campaign in the game by cycling through the options in the rec room using the TAB or LEFT/RIGHT ARROW keys until Pick Mission or Pick Campaign comes up, and then using ENTER to select it. Missions and campaigns are numbered more or less in order of appearance and can be rotated through using the LEFT/RIGHT and UP/DOWN ARROW KEYS.
