The data from EA's conference call yesterday has now been summarized and put online. EA made $716 million in the last three months, compared to $530 million this time last year. Madden 2005, released two months ago, has reached 4 million sales. After its first month it became the best selling title of the year in North America. Sims 2, which sold a million copies in its first ten days, has gone on to sell an additional million in Europe alone. Burnout 3 has also sold more than a million copies just in Europe. They expect eleven of their upcoming holiday releases to become million-sellers. Fiscal year totals are still six months away, but the final numbers should be pretty impressive.
