EuroGamer (the EU equivalent of DollarGamer) is running an article titled "Whatever Happened to .. Episodic Gaming"... and it properly attributes the genre's origins (no pun intended) to Secret Ops! It's basically a broad recap of the various episodic releases that have met with a less than stellar reception over the past few years... worth a look, though! (It's got a picture of Lara Croft for some reason, too).
