Good Strategy pendell!!!!!!! You fight next to the Kilrathi and my turret will just rotate a little and then.......accidents do happen you know.......

Exactly - and the defeat at MacAuliffe would be the ultimate demonstration of impotence. Now, your argument about Confed hanging together because the alternative is extermination is a good one, but I still disagree. After the defeat at MacAuliffe, a lot of people would start thinking that their only hope of winning the war is to overthrow the Confederation. So, it would literally be, "Give me liberty or give me death!"

Surprise attacks and the breaking of truces are nothing that haven't been dozens of times in human history, old boy. Besides, you Apes fell for the Jak-Tu twice, once at McAullife and once at Terra. As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me...

Doesn't happen in any of the WC stories, does it? Clearly
the human race has outgrown such petty shenanigans. The
Kilrathi, still semi-feral, have not yet reached
that point.
