I have no idea whether this has anything to do with anything, but I've been hearing a lot of weird news lately. Residents from Vega sector are looting the Kilrathi systems for alien artifacts. Scraps of metal... broken machinery from dead cap-ships. Selling the debris is reported to be a high-dollar enterprise.
With Midway touring Sol system, you've got everybody and their mother from Border Worlds and Vega sector looking for alien stuff. If they're not going to start regular peace-keeping maneuvers out in Kilrah, Confed should at least have Disease Control take a look at the incoming debris. We have no idea what kind of bacterial crap the bugs are dragging along with them. Could be more deadly than they are.
Folks, Ella is under attack. She'll hold it together as long as no more aliens get to her. Any long-range bombers encountered are now your highest priority!
Next stop is the Ella starbase. We'll hit her up for some replacement parts... maybe even a fighter or two. We'll see if we can get food. You're clear for landing.
