Klavs81 is still playing around with his Rapier model, and he's successfully got guns sychronized for the ship. Lasers, Neutrons or full guns can be fired at will in any future animation he creates. There's a short new video showing off this cool shooting effect here (3.2 meg .mov). An earlier flyby with this model was released a while back.
