Jump, Flash, Whooosh

Privateer Ascii Sector version 0.3.3 was quietly released last month to improve upon the neat advancements added in 0.3.2. Those who haven't tried out the game recently might be pleasantly surprised by the new Windows executable, character combat and sound effects. The latest version specifically fixes several bugs involving asteroid fields, movie recording and menus, plus it adds ALT+Enter full/windowed screen modes and a visible health bar for the player. The classic jump sound effect from Privateer also makes its debut in 0.3.3. You can download the game here.
