Embryonic Hatches
1Up reports that Traveller's Tales, the company responsible for Lego Star Wars, has purchased Embryonic Studios. Embryonic Studios is a UK development house started by several Wing Commander veterans -- including Erin Roberts and Paul Hughes. Here's to hoping this deal is exactly what they were hoping for! Embryonic is a name that has been around for quite some time now, though they've alternatively been known as Warthog and Digital Anvil over the years. Probably the best known game would be the old-school spacefarin' classics Wing Commander: Privateer and its lesser-know sequel, Freelancer.
