Spirit Gets To Mars

While the British Beagle lander has gone AWOL, NASA's effort has gone a little better. Their Spirit rover successfully landed on Mars last night and has already begun beaming back pictures. It has generated a lot of talk among WC fans, both in this thread, and in #Wingnut where people got together and watched the live NASA broadcast together.
