One Time...

Independent music service Bandcamp has made the news this week by announcing that 100% of their share of every digital music sale made on Friday will benefit the Transgender Law Center, a nonprofit organization that works tirelessly to change law, policy, and culture for the more equitable. The promotion will run from midnight to midnight Pacific time and further details are available here. With that in mind, we thought we'd spotlight some Wing Commander music available through the service that you could purchase while also supporting a good cause!

• Wing Commander Series by JD Harding includes orchestrations of two pieces from Wing Commander and three from Privateer!
• The Launceston Youth and Community Orchestra 2009 End of Year Concert includes a live recording of The Fatman's Wing Commander I theme.
• Shiryu's Arcade Vol. 4 includes a track called "Orchestral Wing Commander (Space Suite #2)," which is an arrangement of music from the original Wing Commander.
• Not quite Wing Commander, but The Fatman has made his 7/11: Music from "The 7th Guest" and "The 11th Hour" album available through the service. So this one would benefit charity AND a Wing Commander veteran!
