Raptor Joins Lighter Fighters in the Real World

Here are some larger shots of the absolutely stunning physical models made by Klavs. Photographs of the heavy Raptor now show off how big the fighter is compared to the Rapier, Scimitar and Hornet. Now that 3D printing technology allows them to come prepainted, they almost look too good to be true! You can order your own here. Filling your shopping cart with the various designs can get a bit pricey, but Klavs continues to search for ways to bring down the cost through innovative modeling techniques. The ships themselves are sold at no markup and no profit - they're a real Wingnut labor of love!

The Raptor came today. It's BIG. (6.2"!!) You could probably bludgeon somebody to death with it. They're a bit hard to photograph, some bright spots show up with the flash that aren't normally visible. But here are some shots with a camera that's slightly better than my phone.
