Version 0.6.1.1 of Chris Knudsen's Privateer: Ascii Sector fixes a couple of minor gameplay issues. You can download this latest release from the official website. Changes in this version:
- Fixed bug with escort missions.
- The autopilot will now always disengage if an escortee is under attack, even if you have "Ignore new contacts" enabled.
The (unused) fiction really gets variable here -- there's a list of interesting facts that hit the cutting room floor because of the abandonment of that feature in Episode 4: Ella is destroyed, Stiletto's uncle dies, "sect" is the proper slang term for the Nephilim (and they have larvae, according to Captain Clippy).
These updates are thanks to John "Captain Johnny" Guentzel, who provided several CD image archives of material used by the Wing Commander Prophecy development team!
