Howard Day's Broadsword Breaks Out Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Update ID

Howard Day has another modeling project, and it's freakin' awesome! Below is his rendition of the A-17 Broadsword. It's an amazing blend of slight variations between the bomber's Wing Commander 2 and Privateer appearances. After about two weeks of work, it's a good 90% complete or so. There is still a little texture work to be done before it gets stylish squadron markings and paint. Let Howard know what you think at Crius.net.
This is serving as a bit of a test bed for Pioneer's rendering tech - Joel and I have made some changes in how the ships are textured and modeled, and we wanted to make sure the system worked.

Making the Game: E3 Keymap Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Update ID

This is the first of two incredibly interesting Visio documents: the Keymap created for members of the press who would play Wing Commander Prophecy at the 1997 E3 convention. Check out the very early working cockpit screenshot!

These updates are thanks to John "Captain Johnny" Guentzel, who provided several CD image archives of material used by the Wing Commander Prophecy development team!

Please note that the "Download" link points to an older-style Visio file; these do not open in Microsoft's current Visio viewer. We have converted the VSD into a graphic which can be viewed by clicking on the document thumbnail.
