Kepler Mission Blasts Off

The Kepler mission to seek out Earth-size planets successfully launched over the weekend. Between now and 2013, the orbiting telescope is designed to detect rocky worlds in orbit around stars like the Sun. Here are some impressive photos from the launchpad.
