New Flight Commander Mission Editor Under Development

eddieb's posted some pictures of the revamped mission editor to be included with the next version of Flight Commander. The interface makes it easy to add nav points to your custom campaign missions in order to help get new modders started. Experienced users will probably still want to script in more elaborate scenarios. Eddie's posted the mission editor source code already for any advanced programmers that might be able to find expanded uses for it.

Undertow Expansion Released Today

The free giveaway of Undertow has given the game a healthy boost in popularity. The larger installed base has helped to make a downloadable expansion viable. Path of the Elect was released today for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). It adds five new single player missions, four new maps and a new playable faction. Rocketmen: Axis of Evil was also released for XBox Live Arcade today for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
