ColonelFireball has gotten some big help for his Galactic Civilizations mod. Marc has contributed a number of ship designs and is helping to add ideas from the WC2 era. A sample of the game's fleet is pictured below. They are currently trying to work out how to designate hardpoints in the AC3D modeling program so ships can be fully integrated into the GalCiv shipbuilding engine. Fireball is also currently awaiting the 1.2 patch, which should streamline the modification process significantly. Delance is constantly scrutinizing the world around him for Wing Commander 4 parallels, and he seems to have found one in Fox's 24 tv show. Many actors from Wing Commander have been very active on the television circuit lately, including two WC4 vets that have costarred with Kiefer Sutherland in the popular drama. François Chau and Robert Rusler, who played Vagabond and Seether, have had prominent roles in Seasons 4 and 5 respectively. Robert Rusler plays an assassin for a government faction that engages in terrorist acts with illegally-developed weapons in order to pursue a self-described patriotic agenda. His assignment is to kill the hero, a legendary soldier who has saved the day many times before, but has recently gone renegade.
