Base-ic Instinct

Here's one we missed from a few months back: lorddarthvik has created a 30-second CGI animation of a Hellcat taking off from a Terran Confederation base and flying into space. You can download the clip here. The movie is encoded as a 4 meg DivX file. It's reminiscent of one of the first ever Wing Commander "movie" sequences -- the sequences in Wing Commander II where a Ferret takes off from Ghorah Khar and Novaya Kiev.
