Austin Gaming Conferences Coming In October

The first annual Game Writers Conference will be held in Austin, Texas on October 26 & 26, 2005. Students and professionals aspiring to enter the game industry are welcome to attend, though registration starts at $95. Entry to the writing conference gets you bonus admission to the Women's Game Conference and Austin Game Conference as well. The convention organizers have begun to line up major industry speakers for the event, and it's a good bet that a few members of the former Origin Austin studio will be around in one form or another.
