Windows 2000 Patches For WC3 & WC4 Available

NStriker has developed patches to get several Wing Commander games running in Windows 2000. Wing Commander 3 Kilrathi Saga, Wing Commander 4 CD, Wing Commander 4 DVD and Wing Commander 4 DVD Alternate have patches now. The alternate patch is if you need to apply gulikoza's mpeg2dec file for the patch that runs WC4 DVD without a hardware decoder.

I've created patches for WC3 Kilrathi Saga, WC4 CD, and WC4 DVD that fix an offending API call and allow them to run under Win2K. There still seem to be some outstanding issues like WC3 being unstable in general and I have yet to get my joystick to work in WC4, though I believe neither are related to my patches. I'll try to work on those two problems, but I can't promise anything.
