Wing Commander: Prophecy

Prophecy is a different breed of Wing Commander, filled less with cinematic plot lines and more with white-knuckle gameplay. With its gorgeously refurbished graphics engine, Origin made new fans out of the space jockeys left cold by LucasArts' limp-wristed X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter. Although I finished the game earlier this year, the release of Secret Ops episodes brought me back.
