About the Author
Peter Telep earned his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Central Florida, where he now teaches English. Mr. Telep is a recipient of the prestigious John Steinbeck Award for fiction and has written a number of science fiction and fantasy novels, including Descent (based on the popular computer game), the Squire Trilogy, and the Space: Above and Beyond books.
Peter Telep won the hearts of Wing Commander fans by doing his homework! His Wing Commander movie novel succeded where the movie itself failed: to reference the rest of the Wing Commander universe. Add to that the fact that he's always been available to answer questions and provide insight online, and it's no wonder he's often considered the favorite Wing Commander author by fans.

Pilgrim Truth: Peter Telep wrote four Wing Commander novels -- the movie adaptation, the junior movie adaptation, Pilgrim Stars and Pilgrim Truth. Unfortunately, HarperCollins chose not to publish the final book in the series... leaving Wing Commander fans with a cliffhanger in the middle of their history! Pilgrim Truth was completed and now exists as one of several 'lost' Wing Commander products... but efforts are underway to release the book! Until that is accomplished, here are some useful Truth related resources:
Pilgrim Truth Prologue: The first chapter of Pilgrim Truth. This was released online through Mr. Telep's official website for a short time, before HarperCollins made clear their decision not to publish the novel.
