The convention always ends quickly and the final day is always spent packing up and having sad goodbyes. There's a few funny moments in store yet however.
| Day Four Events - Monday, September 6, 2004 |
ChrisReid: After Hades and Frosty fell asleep, some of us were too hyper to goo to bed. Since LOAF and Lisa had an early flight out, we don't see them much after this.
ChrisReid: I stayed up for quite a while and got a picture of our desk.
ChrisReid: Around 6 am Frosty woke up!
ChrisReid:But he quickly crawled into his bunk and went back to sleep.
ChrisReid: Later that morning we found Frosty and Hades' bar tab.
ChrisReid: This begins the sad exit from our room.
ChrisReid: Death makes his cameo here. He was manning the blood drive and had to dash off.
ChrisReid: The elevators take forever. Every car is packed full of large convention attendees and their costumes.
ChrisReid: Tye slipped into a regular elevator while we continued to wait in the service shaft.
ChrisReid: When we got the lobby, Hadrian had another girl waiting.
ChrisReid: The CIC banner is on its way home.
ChrisReid: Hadrian took off with his ladyfriend, but I found her cell phone.
ChrisReid: Finally it was time to head to the airport.
ChrisReid: The Marta train takes the scenic route through Atlanta.
ChrisReid: They stopped Hades and opened up all his bads because he had a battery shaped like a knife.
ChrisReid: A London bound plane.
ChrisReid: When Hades' ticket went into the gate reader, it got shredded and the word "Canceled!" appeared on the screen. Fortunately everything worked out in the end.
ChrisReid: And Frosty heads to his gate.
ChrisReid: I found a bread thing shaped like an alien.
ChrisReid: All the flights got really delayed, so by the time we took off it was dark.
ChrisReid: Goodbye DragonCon! See you next year!
