My english teacher was da bomb. He was like a buddy to me. I even talked him into showing the wing commander movie to the entire class 
Most people didn't like it, but then again there were 22 girls in that class
BTW: I always thought dralthi's were too easily shot down. Although that got better (a little) when yhey upgraded 'em to heavy fighters.

Yes, now I see it. I can't believe I couldn't figure out ARM, since I once owned Armada. Where am I??
Anyway- I think the best looking Dralthi is the Dralthi IV. That thing was sweet looking! However, the most effective? I'd say the Dralthi. That thing was tough to shoot down!

Proving Grounds, eh? You know, it is a real shame that Origin/EA never thought to cash in on the multiplayer aspects of Armada! Armada was a great game (at least to me, when I owned it). My friend and I would play against each other all the time... build our fleets and duke it out in dogfights, destroying each other's carriers and hunting down our fighters. It was truly good stuff!
Imagine a more modern version of that, with better fighters (HELLCAT V, BABY)!? That game would truly be sweet. Plus. I'm sure it's what every Wing Commander fan has been waiting for outside of the mainstream continuity (WC1, 2, 3, 4, P).
It could be called "Armada Plus!" HAHAHA!!

The Hellcat was, to me, the most perfect Confed ship ever made. It had true stay power and was very simple to fly. Although it was pale next to the "super," Excalibur and Dragon fighters, it was still better than the Bearcat and was a tougher fighter than the Arrow (which, for some reason, my friends think is the best.

I like the Hellcat as well so don't feel bad and I have been picked on about it but I still like it more than the Arrow and Bearcat . That ship was nice.
hehe. Maybe the Hellcat was dumb, but it was useful, because confed needed a medium fighter (the Arrow was not enough powerful, and the TBolt too heavy)... well it was a good escort fighter...
Of course, it would be cool to fly a magic schoolbus, but only a magic schoolbus (yes a yellow one, as the one's in the USA) with tachyon canons and Spiculums IR !
