Hi guys. I have an original copy of WC:The Kilrathi Saga for sale.
I have heard there are some variations of it so I will let you know that these discs have a silver surface on the bottom. The top is white with black print.
It comes with the original jewel cases with all liners, flight...
"Unlike the reptilian aliens in the games..."
Yeah. Now I get to write an article about bad game magazine writers who don't know what they are talking about. I seem to remember reptilian aliens in the "V" mini-series but none in Wing Commander. Wait... lemme check............nope, no...
Well, the funny thing is that I thought this joystick was broken a long time ago. It stopped working on my old system and I couldn't get it to work on the 2nd system I had at the time. I refused to believe it was truly bad so I just put it in storage. I really loved the feel of this joystick so...
I'm glad that I am not the only one with this problem. Maybe it will make a solution come about faster. Will you ever get to Sol? Not right now. Believe me, I have tried everything. The only thing I could do it move my save game to the CD version and continue on to the end.
Interesting. I also have the game port version of the Logitech Wingman Interceptor. It works without a problem in WC4 DVD running WinXP. WinXP actually recognized the joystick by name after I plugged it in. No drivers needed. Being that this joystick is several years old, it puzzles me that...
Oh the patch without a doubt works. Flawlessly actually. I can go back and play other missions without a problem, the system just stops on this one.
I did not realize until recently that I could play the videos straight from the DVD. A friend showed me this recently so I am going to try that...
Well, they might be updating now. I had this problem with my mother's brand new Dell system. It came with a version of Norton but I had a better one. I decided to "upgrade" which pretty much did everything you just described. I ended up formatting and reinstalling everything because I could just...
I posted in another thread that I encountered a problem with the WC4 DVD. This is not the normal problems encountered just getting the game to run smoothly. I applied the patch to play the game without the decoder board and it works perfectly.
Where I run into a problem is near the end of the...
I loaded the Hi-res Prophecy patch myself. After actually READING the directions (which I did not do the first time) it worked like a champ. However, I ended up going back to 640x480. Why? The high resolution looks really good but the game wasn't written for it. So the status displays in the...
Ok, new problem. Although I am not sure it has to do anything with the patch to make the WC4 DVD work. And this problem is truly breaking my heart as I am so close to beating the game.
I am running Win XP with the WC4 DVD. I installed the v1.0 patch last week and the game as been playing...
All this makes me glad I was smart enough to keep the extra episodes when I downloaded them in 1998. I really didn't even remember doing it. But I checked my Secret Ops CD and there they are. Along with my original code key. Maybe I wasn't so dumb back then. :)
Anyway, all this talk of the...
I could swear I had Armada back in 1994 but I don't remember doing any of the things you guys are talking about. It sounds awesome. I actually just won a CD copy of Armada with manuals off eBay for... $1.00. Gotta love that. I'm still waiting to receive it in the mail. Of course the downside is...
I just started playing WC4 again. I am at the point where I just defected and Pliers tells me about the Stormfire gun while in the loadout screen. I remember using this gun and loving it the first time. Problem is, how the hell do you load it on the ship? I have selected a craft that says the...
For Raptor vs. Rapier, I would take the Raptor every time. More shields, armor and firepower. The extra speed in the Rapier is not worth the trade off IMO. And in WC2, I deaded every mission where they stuck me in a Rapier II. It seemed like I was doomed to get really pounded every time I flew one.
