Our goal is creation of The Wing Commander Encyclopedia by the outbreak of the Terran-Kilrathi War. Currently WCPedia has about 5,474 articles. The project is open to anyone who would like to contribute to creating the ultimate Wing Commander resource.

The Wing Commander Products column provides direct links to game and other product landing pages. Product landing pages contain an extensive catalogue of information about a specific product. They are one stop shops for information about each Wing Commander product. The second column contains the "Terran Knowledge Bank" where articles on every aspect of the Wing Commander universe can be found. Ships to weapons, the timeline to specific events, bases to planets, all can be found in the knowledge bank. It is the master repository for all things Wing Commander. Articles in the Terran Knowledge Bank are written in the style of a 29th century researcher working at the research colony on McAuliffe VI. The third column links to various Resource areas on the project. Here you can find a massive amount of images, the Downloads section, and others. The fourth column is the Contribution area. This links to the Help area where various tutorials are located to help users add content. Featured article The Memoirs of Lieutenant Colonel Carl T. LaFong: The Kilrathi War's Greatest Ace (TCSN, Retired) Lt. Col. LaFong was one of the Terran-Kilrathi War's greatest aces. After the war, he sat down and wrote his memoirs of his service during the 2650s and 2660s. Here are those stories. Featured media Privateer 2: The Darkening Landing Page Set in 2790, The Darkening takes place in a remote corner of the Wing Commander universe known as the Tri-System. Planet Anhur has been home to humans for some two thousand years, with the locals having independently developed faster-than-light drives from the Confederation. The futuristic setting lets players utilize advanced jump gates, short-range time travel devices and massive cargo haulers. In addition to the traditional build-up phase and story portions of the game, Privateer 2 peppers the experience with random cinematic mini-plot missions. Certain upgrades are only available once these subplots have been completed, and entire character arcs are explored with recorded video cutscenes separate from the main story.
