Welcome to the Wing Commander Encyclopedia Project!

WCPedia is an experimental project of the Wing Commander Community.
Our goal is creation of The Wing Commander Encyclopedia by the outbreak of the Terran-Kilrathi War.
Currently WCPedia has about 5,474 articles.
The project is open to anyone who would like to contribute to creating the ultimate Wing Commander resource.

WCPedia is always looking for more contributors. Getting started can seem daunting, especially if you are new to wiki. The first place for any user to begin is the WCPedia Rules. Here you will find guidelines to follow when creating and adding content. The Help Section has information on article creation and layouts, organization, writing tips, as well as selected walkthroughs for adding content.

Welcome to the new WCPedia Main Page. From this page you can directly access many of the most important areas of the project. The Resources column provides direct links to game and other product landing pages. Product landing pages contain an extensive catalogue of information about a specific product. They are one stop shops for information about each Wing Commander product.

The second column contains the "Terran Knowledge Bank" where articles on every aspect of the Wing Commander universe can be found. Ships to weapons, the timeline to specific events, bases to planets, all can be found in the knowledge bank. It is the master repository for all things Wing Commander. Articles in the Terran Knowledge Bank are written in the style of a 29th century researcher working at the research colony on McAuliffe VI.

First Battle of Kilrah - 2667

The first major Confederation strike into the Kilrah System. Strike Force Valkyrie, centered around TCS Tarawa, did massive damage to Kilrathi shipbuilding in the Kilrah System and changed the momentum of the war.
