A Top Turret or rear turret is a type of turret that can be mounted on spacecraft. They give access to a rotating position to the rear of a spacecraft. Turrets include two gun slots, a mount for a tractor beam and an MFD for targeting and ordnance. A turret's MDF shows the ship's status and if a scanner is installed it can display target information. They are available for sale to privateers at ship dealers. Turrets
There are three types of turrets: top, bottom and rear. Availability depends upon the type of ship you are flying. All turrets have room for two guns and a tractor beam. While they come with an MFD for tar-geting and ordnance, they have no radar.
