Go to system Delta and jump to the uncharted system designated Beta. Hit all the nav points entered in your nav computer.

If you can, find Captain Garrovick.

Privateer Playtester's Guide

TARYN CROSS - MISSION A

Summary In the bar on Rygannon mining base, you find Taryn Cross, a representa-tive of the Exploratory Services, who employs you to go to the very sys-tems displayed on the Steltek map. She offers to employ you on a mis-sion-by-mission basis. The first is to map the system designated Delta.
Payment 10,000 credits.
Requirements Hit the four nay points pre-programmed into your ship's computer.
Opponents Unfortunately, you are not the first to seek your fortune down an uncharted jump tunnel. There are four hostile pirate Talons (fanatical pros) at Nov 2 and eight hostile pirate Talons (fanatical aces) at Nov 3.
  • If you killed all the hunters and Centurions during the PaLan missions, then you will notice that the militia is after you, which will work to your advantage in this series. If you meet any enemies in an asteroid field, you will want to him back in the direction you came from, then afterburner out of the field and fight them outside the field. Also, be sure to use vow missiles and afterburners [WIT now and then. - "Havoc"

Description

The Taryn Cross missions consist of patrolling unexplored systems. However these systems aren't totally unexplored since various enemies already know about them. There are also a large number of asteroids in the area. Other than that, these are simply patrol missions. Remember, you're meant to reach within 1000 klicks of each Nav point.

Objectives

Travel to Delta system and patrol 4 Nav points then return to Rygannon.

Scripted Encounters

Pirates at least once in Delta

Notes

  • The reason Cross has been losing every ship she sends to Delta is that the place is swarming with pirates. Take them out and report back to Cross.
