Taryn Cross - Mission B is a mission in Wing Commander Privateer. It may be accessed by talking to Taryn Cross at the bar on Rygannon in the Rygannon system after completing Taryn Cross - Mission A.

Mission Description

Go to system Delta and jump to the uncharted system designated Beta. Hit all the nav points entered in your nav computer.

If you can, find Captain Garrovick.

Pays 10000 credits.

Dead pirates, anyway. The area was swarming with the little buggers...

That's good to know. If I don't get this sector mapped real soon...

...the brass at HQ will have my rear.

Lucky brass. Any way I can beat them to it?

CROSS

Hmmm...maybe we'll discuss that after this next mission.

This time you'll enter a completely unexplored region.

I need you to launch from Rygannon, pass through Delta to a new jump point...

...which you will use to jump to the uncharted system we've designated Beta.

All you have to do is hit all the nav points in your computer.

I'll update the chart using your flight disc and pay you 10,000 credits when you return...

One of my men, Captain Garrovick, made the same run you're making. He never came back, so one of your objectives is to find him if you can. PLAYER I thought this wasn't a known hazard area. CROSS We don't know if anything hazardous happened to Garrovick... ...but keep your eyes peeled just the same, okay?

Privateer Playtester's Guide

TARYN CROSS - MISSION B

Summary	Your next job is to jump to Beta and hit all nay points. A Captain Garrovick is missing, and Taryn requests that you also seek him out.
Payment	10,000 credits.
Requirements	Hit all nay points in Beta and search for the lost Garrovick.
Opponents	At Nav 3 in Beta you encounter Captain Garrovick (fanatical ace) who has gone mad as the result of something he's encountered. This mad-ness leads him to attack you mercilessly in his Centurion.

• This sector is the easiest; just hit all the nay points. Garrovick will attack but is no match for a fully loaded Centurion. - "Havoc"

Description

Inside Delta there is a jump point to a new system designated Beta. Again you need to travel there, and patrol the area. Cross asks you to look out for a pilot named Captain Garrovick she sent there before who never returned.

Objectives

Travel to Beta system and patrol 4 Nav points then return to Rygannon.
