: You've found herSo...you gonna slit my throat, or just rob me?
: Wipe the dragons from your charts, and replace them with pirates.
: Don't let my clothes fool you. They're a little rough, but times have been hard...
: Dead pirates, anywayThe area was swarming with the little buggers...

: That's a misconception, I'm afraidOur work is hazardous, yes,...
: Lucky brassAny way I can beat them to it?

: The job requires brains as well as blasters, Mister...?

: '''PLAYER'''
: '''CROSS'''
: $NM.  Or you may have heard me going by $CS.
: Hmmm...maybe we'll discuss that after this next mission.
: Please believe me, I'm not looking for a handout, just a job.
: This time you'll enter a completely unexplored region.
: I have all the qualifications you're looking for...
: I need you to launch from Rygannon, pass through Delta to a new jump point...

: I'll update the chart using your flight disc and pay you 10,000 credits when you return...
: Suppose I'll have to check that out for myself...later.
: Okay, $CS.  If you want the job, you're in...on a per mission basis.
: Right now I need someone for a potentially dangerous assignment.
: I'm in charge of charting maps for the sector.
: The ES has lost a number of ships in the Delta system...
: ...and through jump point Delta, which remains unexplored.
: Could be Kilrathi, a singularity or black magic.  No one knows...
: ...but I'll pay you 10,000 credits to find out.

: You'll leave Rygannon, travel to the Delta system and scout it through 4 nav points.
: The navigational info you'll need will be programmed into your nav computer.
: Basically, for charting purposes, you'll be flying a small loop...

===Description===
===Description===

The Taryn Cross missions consist of patrolling unexplored systems. However these systems aren't totally unexplored since various enemies already know about them. There are also a large number of asteroids in the area. Other than that, these are simply patrol missions. Remember, you're meant to reach within 1000 klicks of each Nav point.
Inside Delta there is a jump point to a new system designated Beta. Again you need to travel there, and patrol the area. Cross asks you to look out for a pilot named Captain Garrovick she sent there before who never returned.

* The reason Cross has been losing every ship she sends to Delta is that the place is swarming with pirates. Take them out and report back to Cross.
* Garrovick is flying a Centurion at Nav 3 and has turned insane. He attacks you when you try to talk to him, so take him out.
