Correct me if I'm wrong but by End Run isn't Confed using Rapier-Gs? I see Rapier-A chassis in the alpha strike.

Other than that nitpick, I love everything else including the Lexington nod.
I know, but Klavs' A version is so sexy...

You're lucky folks aren't asking for a two-seater cockpit sabre. :p

Actually, I changed the 2 seater + gunner to an F-15E style arangement because I hated the side by side concept. Spoils the lines!

I hate manned turrets, except in giant ships like the Broadsword, so the Sabre's turret is unmanned and operated by the rear seater. (In my head, anyway)

You could probably fit 3 people under that giant canopy tho. Just in trail.

For those curious, here is how I plan a mission (I don't think I posted this stuff before):

It's in French, but roughly, you have in the first bloc the list of factions in the mission, then the assets available to each faction, the available equipment, the initial orders and the massive wall of text is the list of instructions that will be needed to be scripted. Things like "tell the player to do this", or "automatically send this fighter group back to its carrier.

This file covers the map setup, with the initial assets, their ship type, their position, potential asteroids, the factions, etc.

This one is the main part of the work, the actual scripts that make the mission playable and interesting. I have yet to write them for the training mission, so these are for the convoy escort mission already released some time ago.

Didn't Scooby_Doo, the main modeller of "Wing Commander Saga: The Darkest Dawn", re-build the Gettysburg-class (TCS Austin) in the visual style of Saga's full version?

EDIT: I've looked again at my files and conversations, and it seems that I only have the older variants. Does anyone knows where the new ones can be found?

The old model is also from the Saga Team. Lynx make the concept, Starman01 has build the model and Talon from the Hostile Frontier do the convert into the Freepace engine.

the new Model is not in Saga because Scooby build it for me. I have it somewhere (hopefully) on a old HDD. Because Need space for Star Citizen a lot of work is gone :/ But the new model has no tripple guns anymore - 6 dual guns.

Alright. If you find it one of these days, I would be quite interested in using it. Though TBH the old model still fares quite well in the game engine so it's not a make or break issue. Same, BTW, for the Bengal model I think you people have in store somewhere: I am using Klavs' right now, but another one could be nice to show differences between the same class.

On a more general note, I am kinda hoarding every Wing Commander model I can get my hands on (but only using them if I have permission), so if you need to delete stuff, just send it to me first and I will keep it safe. :)

As I said - very huge ships. Imagine the Saga Version of the Yorktown is about 850m for Ingame reasons. Scoobys Bengal and Getty is pimped by myself

2x5 Launchbays for fighters
very huge Hangar - even for a full squadron of Broadswords

The Bengal concept is based on the Star Citizen Bengal, Lars latest design and a few of Scooby and mine ;)
The design of the old Getty was based on the HMS Nelson Class - I have no tripple turrets for Saga - so before 4xtripple - now 6xdual - in the end 12 Barrels still but more balanced. Even 3 Fralthi 2 are no match ;)

Heh heh, they will definitely kick ass. Depending on how the Kilrathi ships are armed, I will possibly balance them either through their weaponry or their cost. Though they could counter the current Kilrathi superiority in terms of light capital ships, which have more AMG guns at the moment than their Confederation counterparts. Still quite some work to do, but unless there is some really bad surprise, their integration shouldn't be too difficult.
