I think the preferences might of have reset when Kris updated the MediaWiki? You actually control your own timestamps. http://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Special:Preferences That link allows you to edit your own time-zone/etc. I'm not sure if that then reflects on all time stamps or just your own. Test it out a bit and let me know. --Dundradal
I don't believe there is a way to make the timestamps uniform. They reflect the user that entered them. (Thanks for noting mine was CST, I'm actually EST GMT - 5) You can always view the local time for edits by reviewing the history. It should display in your proper time-zone. --Dundradal
Wow these pages can get confusing if we don't clean them up :p As for your question, it drives me insane as well. The problem is when we have things that deserve an article but don't always deserve capitalization. My suggestion would be to capitalize everything like it was a proper article title, then when it is used in articles (if it can be used lower case) then creating a redirect to the proper article name. That is kind of a pain, but I think it keeps the standard we want? What do you think? --Dundradal
You, Bob and myself should meet up soon to discuss it so we are all clear on it. That way we can nip in the bud any "problem" categories before they grow into something like the Human-Terran issue. --Dundradal
Yeah this week classes start so it's a bit chaotic for me. Perhaps sometime next week? --Dundradal
Hey Wedge, I've gone over the golden sun page again, I'm now happy how things work, and i think the boxes explain themselves (unless theres something glaringly wrong, the grammar and spelling is all as it should be in game (notably colonel with lower case c and several missed capitals, some of which are corrected for SM2) The only thing missing really is a check to make sure that the Amiga and SNES ports aren't different, I have access to a snes copy but not the time/inclination to check each series - I believe i'm correct in saying though that the amiga and CD32 version is just WC1 with no changes so that should be exactly the same (obviously SNES secret missions has at least 1 piece of extra dialogue!)
