Dr. Tuesday Brody was a Terran civilian scientist who hailed from the Terran Confederation. She was also an unwilling accomplice of the Black Lance.

Dr. Brody was one of the Confederation's leading experts in the field of bio-convergence, a scientific field that dealt with the study of human DNA for various militaristic purposes. By 2673, Dr. Brody had accomplished much in the field, to the point where she could employ human DNA codes to program microscopic nanobots. Her contributions to bio-convergence attracted the interests of many Terran military personnel.

During the Border Worlds Conflict of 2673, Dr. Brody was captured by the Union of Border Worlds and imprisoned on Tyr VII in the Tyr System. Confed ordered the TCS Lexington, which had been assigned to counter the Border Worlds militia, to retrieve Dr. Brody alive. Colonel Christopher Blair escorted a Terran marine force to Tyr VII and assaulted the Border Worlds facility holding Brody. After sweeping away the base defenses, the Terrans extracted Dr. Brody unharmed. After her rescue, she was briefly stationed on the Lexington, where she caught unwanted attention from Major Todd "Maniac" Marshall, who attempted to flirt with her.

Unfortunately, Dr. Brody's newfound freedom did not last long. Little did the crew of the Lexington' realize that operatives from the Black Lance, a mysterious faction operating without Confed's authority, had tricked them into rescuing Dr. Brody so that they could force her to serve their own intentions. The Black Lance were preparing for a systematic extermination of those Terrans who could contribute little to the future of the Terran military, intending to use Dr. Brody's expertise in bio-convergence to accomplish this. She was secretly transferred to the Axius Star Base in the Axius System, where she was held hostage once again and forced to serve the Black Lance's bidding.

During her captivity at Axius, Dr. Brody unwillingly created the Gen-Select Bioweapon, a device designed to exterminate humans whose genetic codes and DNA did not match the pre-selected standards pre-programmed into the nanobots deployed by the device. Whereas those Terrans who matched the codes would be unaffected, those who didn't would suffer a slow, horrific death at the hands of the nanobots. This insidious device was tested on the Border Worlds colony of Telamon, where 90% of the population died.

Colonel Blair discovered the existence of the Black Lance at Axius after having tracked the attackers from Telamon back to their base. While trying to escape, Blair ran into Dr. Brody, who recognized him immediately and insisted on escaping with him, saying she could help Confed stop the Black Lance. The two fled to the hangar where Blair's Dragon Heavy Fighter was waiting.

Unfortunately, the two were ambushed by Black Lance security forces and despite Blair's attempts to defend her, Dr. Brody was fatally shot in the back. After killing her assasin, Blair tried to extract her, but she knew she was too far gone. She gave Blair a data disk carrying intelligence vital to stop the war between Confed and the Border Worlds. Brody then died in front of Blair. Blair fled with the intelligence and was ultimately successful in stopping the Black Lance conspiracy against humanity.
