Potter Quadrant Map
Privateer - Store Item - Map - Potter.PNG

The Potter Quadrant Map is a nav map of the Potter Quadrant of the Gemini Sector for use with spacecraft. The map allows spacecraft to autopilot, get directional markers on their HUDs and to obtain immediate information about the quadrant they are in. The Potter Quadrant map is also available in a Gemini Sector Map package which is offered for sale for a discount. When a spacecraft is traded in any maps are transferred to the next ship. They are available for sale to privateers at ship dealers. Gabriel Quentin wrote about nav maps in GEMINI SECTOR: AN OVERVIEW.

Nav Maps

Gemini’s ship dealers have conspired at highway robbery. They require that you buy nav maps at an additional charge. Nav maps are critical to survival as a pilot. Without one you cannot autopilot, you cannot get a directional marker on your HUD, and you cannot obtain any immediate information about the quadrant you are in. If you were to jump from a quadrant for which you have a map into one with no map available, I recommend you jump right back.

If you cannot afford to get the Gemini Sector map with all four quadrants, at least get the map of your current quadrant. Fortunately, the All Quadrant package is sold at a discount.

OTHER SHIP MODIFICATION TIPS

  • When you buy a new ship, your maps, jump drive, and scanners are transferred automatically. You must buy everything else. — "Frog"
