Orsini is a star system in the Epsilon Sector. It is a territory within the Terran Confederation.

Orsini is a civilian center with a minimal population. It was not considered an essential target for much of the Terran-Kilrathi War. In 2669, the TCS Victory was assigned to this system in order to protect civilian shipping. Under the command of newly-appointed Wing Commander Christopher Blair, they were eventually successful in repelling the Kilrathi patrols in the system.

During this campaign, the Kilrathi field-tested the new KH-19Y Capship Missile, nicknamed the "Skipper" in their attacks on civilian shipping. This effort was observed and largely thwarted by the pilots of the Victory.
