Kal Shintahr Melek nar Kilra’hra was a Kilrathi in service to Crown Prince Thrakkath as an chee’dyachee (aide-de-camp) during the Terran-Kilrathi War of 2634-2669. Melek was a loyal retainer but behind his demeanor he had serious doubts about Thrakkaths strategies and how he chose to fight the war. When Thrakkath was shot down and Kilrah, together with the Grand Fleet, was destroyed Melek had the foresight to realise the war could not be won. On behalf of the now crippled Kilrathi Empire he surrended to Christopher Blair onboard the KIS Hvar'kann. Later he signed the Treaty of Torgo officially ending the war.
