Grand Fleet (Kilrathi)
The Grand Fleet was a Kilrathi fleet mustered in the last year of the Terran-Kilrathi War to attack and destroy Earth and any defender in one single effort. The fleet was comprised of all contemporary ship-types in their arsenal including at least two Hvar'kann-class dreadnoughts and several dozzens of other ships. For the impending attack they were refitting at the numerous shipyards orbiting Kilrah. The Grand Fleet was all but destroyed when Kilrah exploded through the efforts of Col.Blair and the Lancelot Flight and showered the immediate area with debris. One of the few survivors of the explosion was the dreadnought KIS Hvar'kann, flagship of Thrakkath, though heavily damaged.
Behind the scenes
The Grand Fleet is featured in Wing Commander 3. Should the player lose the game the Grand Fleet is launched towards Earth and manages to reign destruction down on humanity.
