The MCPH Prototype is the military's newest warship, an improved class of dreadnought which follows the serviceable Yackard. The Prototype entered service in 2790. Notable prototypes so far include the Inspectorate, the Protector, the Phoenix, the Wilcox and the Ice Breaker. Prototypes are sometimes classified as cruisers. Messineo Couriers utilizes a pair of MCPHes in this role. The Kiowan pirate clan has captured a MCPH Prototype, which it has dubbed the Warbird.
