About	A corona scanner performs a laser scan of a person's corona when that person leans in to the scanner. The scanner then compares the scan with a database of scans. The if scan matches that of a person allowed access to an area, the scanner unlocks the area. A corona scanner was installed on the TCS Tarawa during the Hari operation. The scanner guarded the room where the D 3S 5 was installed.
