About	The Rapier II was a widely used fighter in the Confederation fleet and went through seven revisions. The F-44A variant was the first, and came in to service during 2654. The final F-44G variant was used during the Battle of Sirius in 2668. Even after the Rapier was retired from the Confederation, other agencies including the Landreich and the Union of Border Worlds continued to use the Rapier for several years afterwards, with the last known use being in 2673 for the UBW.
